Surrounded by tropical landscaping with gorgeous palms and seasonal red geraniums, one side of the pool features a large patio with relaxing sun lounge chairs. The other has a cozy seating area and dining table for eight. Relax here, or take a short three minute walk to sink your toes in the sand leading to the Atlantic Ocean.
Delight in the bright and airy screened porch overlooking the pool. Head through the double sliding glass doors to be wowed by the home’s architectural details, including vaulted 12-foot ceilings, heart pine floors, and plenty of natural light streaming through the wall of glass overlooking the pool and screened porch. Summary: The house is a unique bungalow/cottage. It seems like it was originally either two houses, or a house/guest house that have been merged into one full house. Ample bedrooms and bathrooms. Wonderful deck that is perfect to enjoy this time of year with plenty of comfortable seating. Absolutely amazing heated pool that was the highlight of the property for sure. Very short walk to the beach, and rehobeth boardwalk is 1 mile north, while Dewey Beach proper is one mile south, so you can't do much better, location-wise if you want a delaware beach vacation. Decor and furnishings are very homey. Kitchen is well appointed, all the necessary utensils/implements are present. Hot water was ample and reliable.

Summary: This was just as advertised! Great location, very comfortable beds, and the pool was wonderful. The property manager responded and fixed a small thing very promptly. The only tiny thing would be that the kitchen is smallish, yet well stocked with utensils. No tea kettle ( a must for UK visitors). Small points that did not detract from a 5 star rating.

It's very comfortably appointed inside - a great screened in porch that easily accommodated all of us and a very nice open floor plan living room, dining area, and kitchen. The bedrooms were nicely furnished and the bathrooms, although on the small side, all had modern fixtures. And the pool area was a godsend for the kids when the temperature was too hot for the beach. The location was also perfect - a quiet street only a short 1 1/2 block walk to the beach, which was far less crowded than the beaches in Rehoboth. All in all a wonderful week. We'll be returning next year!

Summary: This is a beautiful beach house that my family really enjoyed renting. We had seven adults and two kids with us and this house was plenty of space. The kids were in the pool all day long if they weren’t at the beach (a quick 1 block walk) and it is so easy to get to both Dewey and Rehoboth for restaurants and shopping. Check in and out were a breeze and communication with the rental team was very easy. We would certainly rent this home again!
